Jet-Ply Aircraft Interior Wood Veneer
Jet-Ply I, II, & III
JSO Wood Products has served the aircraft interior cabinet industry since 1995. No project is too small or too large. Corporate, private and government orders are all on our resume. Our aviation veneer is called Jet-Ply and comes in several backings, sizes, and grades. We know this industry very well and understand the quality, urgency and burn testing. Our attention to detail and service is what keeps our customers coming back. References and project lists are available.Samples: We try to provide photos as the first step in the sampling process to get a feel for what is needed. Over 1000 pictures are provided in the wood veneer gallery. A great place to start, but most of those veneers are representative of what is currently available. Often our customers are asking us to match an existing or previous interior. Many sampling needs are sufficiently met through the photograph process, but some projects will require live sampling. This would be the second step in the sampling process. We do offer a very nice sample book with 100 samples and a color picture book all with a beautiful binder. These can be purchased online. Please inquire about current lead times as the stock is typically low since the books take 20 hours to produce.
Prices: We do offer a price list that is a general guide to pricing, but most projects are quoted at the time of need. Until a sample or specific veneer is chosen, the price quote could change. This is rarely necessary as we have ample experience and are pretty careful and accurate.
Orders: Lead time vary with each product, but generally the best lead time is one week, with most orders requiring two weeks to produce. Since there are so many wood options, each order is unique in lead time. Most orders are prepaid or 50% deposit. Once an order commitment is made, it cannot be cancelled.
Products: Our Jet-Ply is available with paper (JP-I) and wood backing (JP-II). The paper backed product cannot be fire treated and is typically used for edges and small areas where very thin wood is required. The wood backed product is a little thicker than the paper and that product is fire treated on the back side only. Both products will pass burn tests when the proper fire retardant finish additive is used with any finish.
