ORDER POLICIES

  1. JSO Wood Products reserves the right to change listed prices at any time in the order process. Customers will be given the opportunity to cancel the order if the price isn’t agreed upon. This would be very rare, but has to be allowed given the current environment and the nature of the wood market which has some fluctuation in price occasionally.

  2. Restocking or Cancellation Fees:
    Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed into our system. Most of our orders are customized in some manner and many decisions are made quickly in response to a received order. Some exceptions may be considered in which case there would be restocking fees that would be negotiated. Buyer would pay return shipping plus negotiated restocking fee.

  3. All overpayments will be applied to your account as a credit indefinitely and will be applied as you purchase products in the future. You may request a refund check in writing. Please allow 30 days for check to be issued in this case.

  4. Late orders will not assume shipping costs to be paid by our company automatically. Each order is reviewed individually, and fairness will be applied. Any added expense as a result of expedited shipping is the customer’s (buyer’s) responsibility if requested by customer unless agreed upon prior.

  5. Returns: We do not accept returns except for agreed upon manufacturing defects. There are exceptions, but most of our products are custom made or cut and most transactions are considered “final sale”. If a return is agreed to, there will be a restock fee in the range of but not limited to 25-50%.

  6. It is highly recommended that each and every product is tested for its’ intended use. JSO Wood Products will not be liable for any aspect of product application or the results thereof. Products are expected to be free of abnormal defect which will be replaced or refunded if the goods are found to be defective. JSO will not be liable for any application or additional costs incurred in the application of our products.

  7. Any additional specifications to any price quote may result in a price increase in the quoted product. Quote expiration varies. Please inquire.

  8. Most of the samples sent are not from the actual veneer flitch from which the product was or will be produced. If a sample is needed from the actual flitch, it must be requested in advance of your order and must be referenced in your purchase order.

  9. In the event that collections or legal action should result from nonpayment, the buyer (customer) will be held responsible for all legal fees incurred in collection and consents to jurisdiction in the state of Kentucky.

These policies cover all purchase online, email, or through telephone. Any disputes will be resolved by arbitration by an agreed upon third party. Sometimes we may require this document to be signed and dated.
